Maintaining a stable network is critical for Internet service providers, but offering services that satisfy customers are important too. KSC’s new app will provide its corporate clients with real-time data about their Internet usage.
For over 20 years, KSC Commercial Internet Co., Ltd. has provided Internet and business solutions services to customers in both public and private sectors, including broadband Internet, leased line Internet, cloud computing services for infrastructure, security, backup solutions, etc. As the needs of its customers and Internet usage trends continue to evolve, KSC, which uses Netka System’s NetkaView Network Manager for its own and customers’ system monitoring and management, is also improving its end-user service to reflect the changing business environment.
The company recently embarked on a new plan to provide better client-oriented quality of service for its corporate ICT customers. As part of this plan, KSC created a new mobile application called “Internet KSC” that employs specialized feature called Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG). This service for iOS devices was developed by Netka System and is based on the NetkaView Network Manager (NNM) platform. The app allows KSC’s customers to monitor and analyze their organization’s Internet usage quickly and easily, anytime and anywhere.
In addition, the Internet KSC app can provide news and updates to customers, thereby strengthening client communication and customer satisfaction.
New app aims to meet corporate clients’ changing needs
Mr. Praphon Phongprapat, Vice President, Business Development and Marketing Department of KSC, said the app was developed to meet the changing usage trends of its corporate clients.
“A survey of our clients found that the usage of mobile devices is increasing and contributed to the decision to develop a new mobile solution, in order to bring more convenience for KSC’s corporate clients.
“The new app is available for your smartphone or tablet to help simplify your network management and monitor the Internet usage, ” Mr. Praphon said. “This helps you better plan your network investments over the long-term. And it’s all handled from your iPhone or iPad.”
KSC prepared to invest 30-50 million baht for Internet network improvements
This year, KSC is planning to invest between 30 million and 50 million baht to improve its Internet network connections and gateways, and to upgrade its data centers. This new plan also includes partnering with local and international firms, including Netka System. Through partnerships and improvements to its network and service offerings for the more than 2,000 corporate clients, KSC expects to record a 10% growth in revenue in 2014.
