Job Description
- Requirements Elicitation and Management: Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring they are clear, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve business processes, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with best practices.
- Solution Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluate potential solutions to business problems, considering factors such as cost, feasibility, and impact, and make recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their needs, communicate project requirements and updates, and ensure their buy-in and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
- 2-5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge in PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract low-level information to a more general understanding.
- Ability to communicate clearly with end-users, peers and management.
- English Fluency.
- Evaluate the data protection framework to end user.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of technology systems and applications Proficiency in tools and techniques used in requirements gathering and analysis
- Data Privacy Management Skills: Understand and comply with relevant laws and regulations related to data protection, such as PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations, and ensure their requirements are met.
- Analytical Skill: Able to analyze complex data, identify patterns and trends, and propose solutions to enhance business processes and systems
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
Communication Skills - Negotiation Skills: Ability to present and negotiate to achieve clear understanding, engage stakeholders, and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to think critically and make reasoned judgments to solve complex problems.
- Business Knowledge: Understanding the business domain and industry trends is important for IT Business Analysts to align technology solutions with business goals
