- Job Description
To support the Company Secretary in ensuring the effective administration and compliance of the company’s corporate governance framework. - Various tasks related to board meetings, including preparing agendas, compiling board papers, and taking meeting minutes. They also assist in the filing of statutory documents and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Helps in maintaining company records, managing communication with stakeholders, and supporting the Board of Directors in fulfilling their responsibilities - To assist the Board of Directors to perform their duties without contravening the law and to ensure that the Company’s operations are in accordance with the principles of good corporate governance.
Qualifications:
- bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or law
- More than 2 years in Asst. Company Secretary or Executive Secretary
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulation, including corporate law, governance codes, and securities laws. They must also be able to keep up with changes to these regulations over time
- Excellent attention to detail, as much of their work involves record-keeping and ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including board members, shareholders, and government regulators. They should also be able to collaborate with other professionals across the organization.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards, and act with integrity in their role.
